NotesNOW · free voice to text notes
Talk messy. Get a tidy note.
Tap Dictate and speak – the title first, then your note. Your words appear as you talk, and one tap of the sweep adds the full stops and capitals, fixes the grammar and flags any word the phone misheard.

Before and after
What dictation gives you – and what NotesNOW gives back
What your phone hears
remind me to call the plumber tomorrow about the leak under the sink and pick up flower for the pancakes and check whether the beech is open saturday
After one sweep
Remind me to call the plumber tomorrow about the leak under the sink. Pick up flour for the pancakes, and check whether the beach is open on Saturday.
Punctuation, capitals and grammar are fixed straight away. Words that don't fit – like flower and beech – are highlighted with a suggested change, and you choose: Change it, type your own, or Keep mine.

A card for every note
Every note becomes a card you can search, pin, file in a folder and style with real notepads and backgrounds.

Questions
Good to know
Is NotesNOW really free?
Yes. Dictating, writing, reading, search, three folders and five context sweeps a month are free. NotesNOW Plus – $5.99 a month or $39.99 a year (NZD), with a 7-day free trial – adds unlimited sweeps, Rewrite as…, photos with scan-to-text and sync across your devices.
Do I need to download anything?
No. NotesNOW runs in your browser. Add it to your home screen or desktop to use it like an app – it works offline too.
Which browsers support dictation?
Chrome, Edge and Samsung Internet on Android and computers, and Safari on iPhone and Mac. On iPhone, dictate in Safari rather than from a home-screen icon. Firefox doesn't support live speech to text yet.
Where are my notes kept?
On your device. They only leave it if you turn on sync with Plus, or when you run a sweep – that note's text is sent to be proofread, and NotesNOW doesn't store it.
